THE EDIT

Girls weekend, done right.

Friday night through Sunday dinner, built for the group that wants Charleston to feel fun without spending the whole weekend deciding where to go next.

2 NIGHTSWALKABLEBRUNCH + NIGHTLIFEMAP INCLUDED

WHERE WE'D STAY

Hotel Bennett

This is the move for a girls weekend: right on King Street, across from Marion Square, with shopping, restaurants and nightlife outside the door — plus Camellias downstairs when the group wants champagne before anyone even calls an Uber.

KALLAN MOVEBook here if walkability matters more than having a quiet little hideaway. You can do almost the entire weekend on foot.
ON PROPERTYCamellias, La Pâtisserie, Fiat Lux rooftop and a rooftop pool for overnight guests.

FRIDAY EVENING

Check in, champagne
& somewhere to dance

Hotel Bennett → Camellias → Legami → The Commodore

01

FRIDAY EVENING

Start polished. End on the dance floor.

01

Check In | Hotel Bennett

Drop the bags, change, and give everyone an hour to settle in. The weekend works best when you start right in the middle of King Street.

KALLAN NOTE If someone arrives early, send her to La Pâtisserie for coffee or a pastry instead of creating a whole extra stop.

02

5:15 PM | Champagne at Camellias

Make the first drink of the weekend the pink room. Order bubbles, caviar fries or a little something to share and let this be the official start.

KALLAN MOVE Evening lounge service is first come, first served. Go close to opening on Friday instead of trying to squeeze it in later when the room is full.

CAMELLIAS ↗
03

7:15 PM | Dinner at Legami

Walk a few blocks up King for a lively Italian dinner with cocktails, shareable plates and a room that actually feels like the beginning of a night out.

KALLAN PICK Ask for the Garden, Palm Room or upstairs Lounge if you can. The Lounge is especially good for a group that wants the energy to build after dinner.

RESERVE LEGAMI ↗
04

Late | The Commodore

This is the not-for-everyone part — and exactly why it belongs in the girls weekend. Live jazz, funk, cocktails and a real dance floor.

KALLAN NOTE Go because you want to dance. Check the live-music schedule before the trip; the venue is 23+.

SATURDAY

Boozy brunch, King Street
& the big night out

Bodega → Shopping → Carriage Ride → Ritual

02

SATURDAY

The full girls-trip day.

01

11:00 AM | Boozy Brunch at Bodega

Sleep in a little, then start with the high-energy brunch. Think espresso martinis, mega mimosas and the kind of room that can handle a group having a very good time.

KALLAN MOVE This is not the quiet brunch. That's the point. For a larger group, inquire ahead instead of assuming you'll walk straight in.

BODEGA ↗
02

1:00 PM | King Street Shopping

Work your way down King Street and keep the list edited: Hampden for fashion, Croghan's for jewelry, Worthwhile for something unexpected, then let the group wander a little.

KALLAN NOTE Don't turn shopping into a six-hour mission. Two good hours keeps the day fun and leaves enough energy for the night.

OPEN KING STREET ↗
03

4:00 PM | Carriage Ride

Give your feet a break with a one-hour historic carriage ride. It is touristy in the best way for a first girls trip — sit down, see the city and reset before getting ready.

KALLAN MOVE Book ahead. Charleston assigns carriage routes, so you don't choose the exact streets you'll see — just enjoy the ride.

04

5:30 PM | Reset at the Hotel

Back to Hotel Bennett. Shower, change, charge phones, regroup. Do not add another bar here — you have a long night ahead.

05

8:00 PM → Late | Ritual

Book dinner on the rooftop, then stay when the energy changes. On weekends Ritual shifts from restaurant and lounge into full nightlife with DJs and dancing.

KALLAN NOTE This is intentionally loud and clubby later. If half the group hates a nightclub, make dinner the shared plan and let the dancers stay.

SUNDAY

Coffee, the KALLAN walk
& a very soft landing

Babas → KALLAN Walk → Dewberry Spa → Citrus Club → Pool Option → The Darling

03

SUNDAY

Chill, but still Charleston.

01

8:30 AM | Coffee at Babas on Cannon

Start with espresso and something small, then head straight into the KALLAN walk before the heat and crowds build.

BABAS ↗
02

9:15 AM | The KALLAN Walk

Babas → Waterfront Park → Rainbow Row → The Battery → White Point Garden → Tradd Street → Philadelphia Alley → King Street.

KALLAN MOVE Keep this one unhurried. It is the reset after Saturday night: pretty streets, water, photos and no reservations.

OPEN THE KALLAN WALK ↗
03

11:30 AM | Spa at The Dewberry

Book massages or facials and let everyone disappear for an hour. The Dewberry Spa is quiet, polished and exactly the right contrast to Saturday night.

KALLAN NOTE Book treatments well before the trip if you want several appointments around the same time.

BOOK THE DEWBERRY SPA ↗
04

1:30 PM | Lunch at Citrus Club

Go upstairs after the spa for rooftop cocktails and light lunch. This is where Sunday starts feeling like vacation again.

Citrus Club rooftop at The Dewberry

KALLAN MOVE Lunch reservations are available in the 12–2 window; otherwise seating is first come, first served.

CITRUS CLUB ↗
05

3:30 PM | Optional Pool Afternoon

If the weather is perfect and nobody wants the weekend to end, check ResortPass for Little Palm at The Ryder. It is downtown, social, and has poolside drinks and food.

KALLAN NOTE Pass and cabana inventory changes by date — check before the trip. If day passes aren't offered on your Sunday, a cabana may be the better group move.

CHECK POOL ACCESS ↗
06

6:30 PM | One Last Dinner at The Darling

Finish on Upper King with oysters, cocktails and a lively room that still feels Charleston without turning Sunday into another full nightclub night.

KALLAN PICK Sit at the raw bar if your group is small enough. For a bigger table, reserve ahead.
